As a new mother, Sarah was regularly looking for places to go with her new daughter, but after searching through a nationwide website of 'local' groups, arriving at 2, and then finding out that they had ended almost a year ago, she gave up and tried to find places on her own, which is never an easy task, and relied mostly on word of mouth from other mothers.
It was here the idea for a real local website came about, but due to babies being born, moving house and everything else that life throws at us, it is only now that we feel we are in a position to launch bedsbabies!
Steph Rogers is 28 and has a back ground in sales and advertisng and is a busy Mummy to Thomas who is 19 months old and Wife to Matt. Steph juggles working during nap time and at night times for a group of magazines, with going to baby groups and raising Tom. It's no easy task and she can sometimes feel like a jack of all trades master of none, She says her days have absolutely no structure and thats the way she likes them. Thomas is a lively energetic little boy who's favourite word seems to be no Mummy, as he gets bored so easily Steph was constantly trying to find things to entertain him. Which is how we arrived at bedsbabies. On a play date with the kids, Sarah and Steph decide to make the dream a reality and just go for it instead of constantly talking about it. The aim is to provide a valuable resource to the parents/carers of bedfordshire alongside some entertainment and news on cracking deals, events and people.
Steph & Sarah want to know what you want on the site so please let them know if you have anything to contribute or you would like to see by using the contact us form.
Thanks
Sarah & Steph
Sarah Cooper is a 32 year old stay at home mum. She is married to Mark, and they live in the Barton Hills region of Luton together with their 2 children, Olivia aged 2 and a half, and Charlie aged 10 months, and not forgetting the labrador and 5 cats!
Before falling pregnant with Olivia, Sarah worked in Law and Recruitment, but upon having her first child, she was secretly relieved when she was made redundant at the end of her maternity leave.
It was working in recruitment where Sarah & Steph first met, and they continued their friendship away from the office, and supported each other through good times and bad, as friends always do.
